Truly fantastic,professional,and caring staff...my family and I have been here multiple times and every time its a great experience. I would recommend this place both as a family practice and an urgent care to anyone. Also they have very reasonable rates for anyone who does not have insurance. From the front staff to the back staff and all of the providers there- these guys have it together! I work in the medical field so I am very critical of medical offices and I honestly say...top notch service guys....great job!
One of the things I noticed first at PCUC was the cleanliness. The waiting room and patient areas were immaculate! The Dr. who took care of me provided me with the information and care I needed to get better, while not talking down to me like I was a toddler. Would recommend PCUC to anyone in Wilmington looking for urgent care.
I HIGHLY recommend this UC over any other in Wilmington! You are in and out in less than an hour! Very friendly, concerned & compassionate staff. No long wait in lobby, nor a long wait in the room. Even called my pharmacy to order my RX to where I only had to pick it up and then even gave me a follow-up call - not always - but they do when they can. Went into port city urgent care yesterday to be seen. The PA took his time with me to ask questions and then sent me to the emergency room at new hanover. After staying in the ER until 3 am, I was told to make an appointment with the same endocrinologist recommended to me by the PA at Port city urgent care. I tried making an appointment but was told I was not allowed to without a referral. So I called PCUC around 11am, was told the referral would be sent today with a follow up phone call afterwards. Everyone there is super nice and they actually listen to you! The best part was I was having problems with my pharmacist and what my insurance would cover; so, I called the dr. Office back and they called the pharmacist and pushed him to get things moving and too look for other options. I have never had a doctor office help me the way they did!
From the front desk, the cleanliness, to the clinical staff what a great place! The providers actually care, I got a call at home to check on me! Worth the visit for urgent care or family practice. I know my family will be going to Port City!

I was seen at PCUC&FP on Sunday 8-5-2012, for a Workman's Compensation injury, by Clint David Price, P.A. I was so impressed by the care and concern given me that I am seriously considering making them my primary doctor. Mr. Price made me feel as if I was the most important patient he had seen all day, It has always been my experience that in an Urgent Patient situation, I am treated as if I'm just wasting their "oh so valuable time". I took my daughter (who is a student at UNCW) to Port City Urgent Care this week for the first time and couldn't have asked for a better experience. They took over an hour with her and thoroughly examined her. She had been "brushed off" at the Student Health Center on campus so I wanted to get her established somewhere she could get quality care.
