A friend brought me here for the first time a couple of weeks ago, this is by far the best barbecue ribs I've ever had here in North Carolina. I am very picky and normally would not eat any one else's barbecue but mine. I will return today.

RecommendedWe had a great success at Mount Hermon Baptist Women fundraiser with some the amazing chicken from port-a-pit and with the two friendly cooks that prepared and cooked the chicken. We have gotten many compliments on how good the chicken was and all the fixings. Thank you Wesley and Tom for some wonderful chicken. have catered a few of my events and the food is phenomenal, I travel the country and this is one of my favorite bbq spots.
This is the first time I’ve actually been to the restaurant, I’d always had it at fund raisers. It tastes the same!

This is by far the best bbq that I have had here in North Carolina! I have had Port-A-Pit several times, and I have never had a bad meal!
Everything I have had here is excellent. Got to try the Brunswick Stew tonight and it was wonderful. Can't wait to go back.
