What a strange and uncomfortable experience. I contacted Porsche about a vehicle I was seriously interested in. Initial phone interactions were fine, although follow-up was lacking and I had to call back myself to get a test drive scheduled. The in-person experience is where things went sideways. My 1997 911C4S I have to finally post here how fantastic Downtown Porsche has been for me over the years. I originally purchased the car from the Avenue Road location in 1997. I have had service at several shops in the GTA over the years, all have disappeared. The car has become pretty special, being the last of the air cooled generation. Incredibly rude service. I called 3 times for a simple question and the front desk couldn’t answer me so she kept transferring me to departments where they wouldn’t even pick up the phone. You expect higher level of customer service for a brand like Porsche.
