Porky's Bayside is the go-to spot for a quick BBQ bite while traveling between Key West and the mainland. The restaurant used to be known as Bill Thompson's Villa, and it was known to be a favorite pit-stop for celebrities like Ernest Hemingway and Elizabeth Taylor. The menu is not all BBQ however, since you are in the Keys, you will still find plenty of seafood dishes. It is located right on the Overseas Highway and the back patio has views of the mini marina and gulf beyond, perfect for enjoying your meal.

The baby back ribs suck. The back isn't peeled, not fall off the bone and way too sweet sauce.
Loved the atmosphere and how it was decorated and right next to a marina! The mashed potatoes were to die for as well as the pulled pork ! We stopped in here twice, and the employees remembered us! Very nice and pleasant staff.
Nice atmosphere with yummy food. Loved our server as much a the bbq chicken.
When I come to Marathon I eat half my meals at Porky's. There breakfast is fantastic, the Fried Key Lime Pie is fantastic and there specials are always fantastic.
I stop at Porky's everytime I drive down the keys! Delicious pulled pork sandwich

We stayed in Marathon for a week the end of April, we enjoyed Porky's so much, we eat and/or drank there at least 5 times. We'll be back when we're in that neck of the woods again :)
