The restaurant used to be known as Bill Thompson's Villa, and it was known to be a favorite pit-stop for celebrities like Ernest Hemingway and Elizabeth Taylor. The menu is not all BBQ however, since you are in the Keys, you will still find plenty of seafood dishes. It is located right on the Overseas Highway and the back patio has views of the mini marina and gulf beyond, perfect for enjoying your meal.

The server was so friendly. The music was Joemama and he was so sweet. His voice carried a tune like Johnny Cash. The chili was fabulous.

Great laid back atmosphere right on the water. Excellent food and the best beer prices in Marathon! A must visit.

My ribs were on the dry side, not the falling off the bone tender and juicy I had expected.
