The restaurant used to be known as Bill Thompson's Villa, and it was known to be a favorite pit-stop for celebrities like Ernest Hemingway and Elizabeth Taylor. The menu is not all BBQ however, since you are in the Keys, you will still find plenty of seafood dishes. It is located right on the Overseas Highway and the back patio has views of the mini marina and gulf beyond, perfect for enjoying your meal.

Brisket , Mahi, Coleslaw, MAC & Cheese was excellent!! Service was great!!!
Fab atmosphere listening to singing would definitely go back .

Great place
Waiter was terrible. Smoked pulled pork sandwich was neither pulled pork nor smoked. Food was mostly tasteless and Bbq sauce tasted store bought. I ate here a few years back; and have been bragging about the place for years. No more.
Great fun and so nice to have a place you can bring your pooch. We will go back.
The food had no flavor. I ordered a fried red snapper and I swear I have bigger fish in my aquarium at home. Do yourself a favor and find another place to eat.
Stopped on our way from Ft. Lauderdale tp Key West. Great atmosphere, great food and good service. Stopped for breakfast, will definitely consider it a stop again to try the rest of the menu.
The wife and I both ordered pork baskets but when the check came we were charged for dinners. I asked if they could substitute hush puppies for my one side and they charged me for a full order! The NC style BBQ was not. We were not impressed with our meal or service. I had to get the manager out there to fix or bill and she didn't want to do anything for use but I refused to pay until she did at least give us some credit. We left pretty much disgusted with our experience.
