The restaurant used to be known as Bill Thompson's Villa, and it was known to be a favorite pit-stop for celebrities like Ernest Hemingway and Elizabeth Taylor. The menu is not all BBQ however, since you are in the Keys, you will still find plenty of seafood dishes. It is located right on the Overseas Highway and the back patio has views of the mini marina and gulf beyond, perfect for enjoying your meal.

The food is great. We didn't try the usual staples. We went with the specials of the day and we were amazed of how good it was. the atmosphere is super relaxed and I'll be back later for more food.
Authentic keys dockside bar. Good food and great staff. Down to Earth night. Good live music... try and enjoy 😉 A1
Great place to eat and chill out
Worst restaurant in marathon . If you want mediocre ( at best ) food . Extremely over priced . Really bad customer service , then I suggest you go to porkys . I will never eat there again .
my brisket was so dry and seemed to be days old and did not finish. mashed potatoes tasted as if they were instant. the person I went with had Manhattan chowder and salad. the dressing was so bad she did not eat any of the salad. She enjoyed the soup. Had the special dragon fruit lemonade which was very good. service was so bad. A server came up to take order but the hostess yelled that we are not the table she is at and told her to go somewhere else. then our waitress basically forgot about us and was gone for a good 20 min... read more
