We have been here two times for date nights. The owner is so friendly and is always out talking to guests. We mentioned we were celebrating our 7yr Anniversary and he gave us glasses of prosecco. They always have different specials that change and everything is so fresh and good.
We just had a wonderful meal served by a great friendly staff. I would give it a 4.5. Only slight criticism would be that the scallops app wasn't as hot as I would like, but the flavor was amazing. Highly recommend. We are already planning our next visit!
By chance, I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant just as they were opening up for business on Sunday. The amount of care and attention they give their service and preparation of food more than make up for the hidden and slightly awkward entrance to the place as you come in from the basement. Thank you to the staff at Poppy Hill...we had a delicious meal with great service....we appreciated the gesture of kindness...Project Healing Waters is a great organization doing incredible things for our warriors as well as the volunteers...makes me very proud to have my husband involved in such an organization. Again, Poppy Hill thank you!
Poppy Hill's I thought this place had a neat set-up, its in the basement of a building, but other than that i wasn't as impressed as I had hoped. The service was great but the food was just ok. It was really expensive for what we got. On the other hand though, we had a large party and they handled us really well.
great dessert Best Tiramisu I have had. I love the 'dungeon' dining room and the art on the walls. This is a small place and seats fill up quickly so get there early to make sure you aren't left wanting.
