Quality and Friendly Looking for some good food that isn't part of a chain. Where the owner's have developed a substantial clientele who come back again and again. Great variety of fare from barbecue to Mexican. The best chili rellenos. Try it.
Poppies Restaurant Poppies Restaurant is one of my group of friends long time favorite meeting places. We've celebrated many a birthday or anniversary there. It's on Colorado Blvd. in a small strip mall, nothing fancy, however the food is consistently good. It is one of the few places in town I will have a drink, if I drink, which is rare. Poppies Poppies has a great bar to drop in for a pre-party drink. Service is quick and the TVs are fun for the husbands. Perfect neighborhood spot!
Not bad food A little dark on the inside, but the food is not bad. Burgers OK and their grilled cheese sandwiches are really good.
Good ribs This is a quaint, neighborhood place that is frequented by the older set, but my 40 something friends and I love it. Great food, super friendly staff and just an enjoyable place to dine.
