Went on our lunch break from work, took 15mins to get our order placed, and another 20mins for the food to come out. Food was subpar, and the only thing we really enjoyed was the pizza bread . Having a more attentive staff during lunch hour would make a huge difference.
We love Poppa Rollo's and will go out of our way to stop there to eat. Found by accident when a nearby highly rated restaurant was crowded, it quickly became our favorite pizza place. Food is great, very flavorful and full of meat and cheese. Price is reasonable. Atmosphere is very friendly and family oriented. We enjoy watching The Little Rascals and other classics while eating. Great little spot in the road!!!
About once a month, I take our Cocker to Bark n Bubbles in Waco. This is a 2 he. drive, but this way I get my Poppa Rollos fix as well. 2 birds with one stone. Whether the dog needs a grooming or not.
Best little Pizza place in Central Texas, was a favorite while attending Bayor and TSTC (TSTI then), still is. And now every time while passing through its a good stopping point on the way South or North on I 35. One of the few spots that offer a whole wheat crust pizza crust in a sea of pan, chewy, thin and others as the fast food places try to reinvent the pizza crust.
