This place is in a great location with the worst management. This company does not care about the elderly in any way. Repairs are done slowly if done at all. To be specific the employee Marcus is a very unprofessional representative of poplar grove. He attempts to talk to the elderly tenants with no respect as if they are not people. Unfortunately the apartments stay in business due to obvious need from people. Do not move your loved one here.
My father has lived here for years. The first few years were great! The previous management ensured that the elderly resident's apartments were well maintained, clean grounds and treated each resident with respect. The current manager, Marcus, is the complete opposite. He is rude, nasty and simply does not care about maintaining the safety and sanitation of the apartments. This place is an eyesore and doesn’t really belong in this neighborhood. They seem to exclusively rent to low income, and unsavory characters. I hope the city takes action to eliminate this complex from the fourth ward.
