I got the number for Popeye's from my contractor who i trust. I also got other bids and his was the lowest so i went based on the recommendation. The project was to excavate and lay asphalt in front of my shop. 1st issue was they came to start the project and cut down a tree that we never discussed removing, when i asked him why he said it had to... no call, no discussion, good bye 40 year old birch. On October 2, 2016 an estimate was written up for customer. It clearly states that stumps will be removed. Removing tree stumps was discussed at first meeting because the root system would interfere with the installation. The customer had our employees stack the wood for him at NO charge. The driveway has been completely redone; the asphalt and concrete was removed, re-graded and new asphalt has been installed.
