This is more of a rating reflecting corporate greed than anything else. Popeyes is frequently sold out of their temporary menu items a week or two after introduction. Pickle items this summer & now their “Hot Ones” the past couple weeks. They were sold out of their temporary menu “Smoki’n Rojo” sandwich, which is actually kinda spicy for once, had it last week. I got their “Darin’ dab ghost wings” instead. Had to wait 12 minutes for 8 popcorn sized pieces of chicken with some seasoning sprinkled on it for $9.50! I guess they... read more
Spicy chicken sandwich is good, but nowhere near as good as at Hickam. The NEX location skimps on the sauce, which really makes the sandwich. Ate there again on Sat, 4 Oct…..same issue. Disappointing this has not been fixed.
Did a drive through at the newest Popeyes on Dillingham and Kalihi Street. Serving comfort food that you can enjoy. Same good tasting chicken year after yesr.
