I thought the bad reviews were overblown before I visited. Everyone knows Popeyes is always slow. This place is way worse than the rest. Waited 40 minutes for a sandwich combo and I was one of 3 people there. Everyones stuff was taking forever. Lobby smells like weed. Bathrooms arent clean. Food is good. Ladies working there are rude.
Placed a mobile order, pulled into drive through and was parked. 15 minutes pass as I watch people go in and out I finally decide to get my sleeping baby out of the car and go in. They can’t find my order, no big deal I work in food service, it happens. My issue lies with the lack of communication, I was never told how long, what was happening, or even an “I’m sorry for your wait” I was left standing there confused. There drive through intercom not working. Plus when I went to go pay with cash it was debit card or exact cash only. People there are just rude almost like im an inconvenience ordering food.
