We went to dine in at just after 3:00 in the afternoon which shouldn't be too busy and it wasn't but we stood at the counter waiting for over 10 minutes for somebody to take our order with everyone running around the kitchen and helping out with drive-thru and online orders but we're never taken care of at the register to put in order. Finally we left and we're going to go through drive-thru but then a car got in front of us we figured that would add another 30 minutes so we just took off.
Storm is not a very friendly person but other employees are alright. Update: The new flounder sandwich is bangin'. Try it. I plan on going back to check out the spicy one.
In the drive thru. I make a specific order. Easy peasy. Nah. 3 piece spicy white with red beans and rice, chicken sandwich and a shrimp tackle box. The total stunned me. $34.86 just didn't sit right with me. Red flag #1. So I had to ask for my receipt. Red flag #2. I went into the restaurant and had to wait 11 minutes for someone to acknowledge that there were customers in the lobby ready to order. More red flags. I visited Popeyes on Two Notch Rd in Columbia, SC and the service was horrible. The cashier was also serving food after handling money. I ordered two shrimp meals and the portions of the shrimp were baby portions. I paid $27 for baby meals. I requested a refund and left. The Manager did not even try to appease his customers. He gladly gave me a refund. I took my business elsewhere and it will never be Popeyes again. I would never recommend Popeyes if you want a meal for an adult; Very disappointed! ☹️
