The food was good. The people were very nice.
This is a large and attractive venue that the seniors "share" with other groups when they are not using it. I attended a nicely done presentation of Quilts of Valor to 7 deserving veterans on Flag Day,June 14. It was nice to see the setup where a group of "Patriotic Quilters" meet regularly to work together in a way that truly shows appreciation to a part of our community. Great place to take my mom! She enjoys bingo and lunch there.
The Activity Center is a fantastic place for seniors that have a little extra time to spend with others. The center has something going on all the time. The meals are always great, tasty and easy on the wallet. I've seen folks playing cards. One of the rooms has a pool table. There is a small library where you can get something to enjoy. My favorite is the mini gym where they have several cardio machine, a plate weights machine and a complete set of dumbbells. There is something for everyone.
