I'd like to update my review from 2017. Our pool is now 18 months old and it is probably the most complex pool in Ft Bend County and maybe the largest. I only say that because there are so many features that things have broken. A-Bear Pools and Scott Hebert the owner personally, has gone over and above to help work out any warranty and service issues. The service after the fact has been 5 Star.

Do NOT give this company any money upfront!! Right from the start of the project I had an A-Bear contractor send me a letter threatening a lien on my house even though I had already paid Scott and Janet ****** for his services. When it came time to finish the pool another contractor threatened to walk off the job unless I paid them 77k on the spot. If you want a pool built call Modern Method Gunite and talk to Edgar the owner. His company poured the gunite and applied the Bead Crete Pebble finish to our pool and did a wonder... read more

The contractor that threatened a lien had raised his original bid for the job and then threatened. The money paid to Modern Method Gunite was money that was owed on the contract by Mr. ******. We allowed him to pay directly to the sub contractor. All of our employees were always paid. Mr. ****** befriended an Ex Employee of ours that was fired for stealing from our company.
