Thank you for our wonderful meal tonight!! We had crawfish, snow crab shrimp and all the fixings!! It was all very good even picking it up curbside and taking it south of Alvin!! I had been wanting to try this place for the longest time. Only to be disappointed. The crawfish were horrible!! They were overcooked and look like they were from the beginning of the season, so tiny. They even looked disgusting! We also ordered the catfish platter which was also terrible! 2 pieces of tasteless catfish and stale fries. Definitely not worth the hype or the drive unfortunately!

I bought 10 pounds of crawfish to bring home I have always loved Pook's....however this time I was very disappointed. about a quarter of them were already dead when they were cooked and almost all were small. Not worth the 70.00 price
Started coming to Pooks last year and have gone back multiple times. They have some of the to be expected issues, like the occasional dead crawfish that you get anywhere, but for the most part, it's always been amazing! We came in Feb. 2020 and it was delicious. Pooks has just gotten better and better! I’m happy to live less than 5 minutes away! And as for my wife, 5lbs of crawfish is better than flowers ANY DAY!
Nothing better then Pook’s to go sitting on the porch enjoying this beautiful weather with all that’s going on
