Disappointing all around.
Dr Pooja is one of those rare Doctors that take time with you, listening, and then giving feedback. I have never had problems getting scheduled and she's always on time,which I appreciate. She treats me for hypothyroid and pre diabetes and I've been able to keep it to pre and not gone into full blown diabetes due to her support. Can't think of a better Doctor that I deal with. I just wish she was Primary :D
I had a cyst on my pituitary that compromised all of my hormones. After transphenoidal surgery (through the nose to the brain) to remove the cyst at MSKCC in NYC, I was under the care of an endocrinologist for 9 years at that hospital. Dr. Pooja took over a great practice from Dr. Dublin and has continued the friendly and informative care we had come to expect at Millennium. She has met and exceeded our expectations.
TERRIBLE!!! Tried scheduling with this doctor a couple months ago and was told this doctor requires a referral from a doctor even if you have a PPO insurance plan (which I do) and then I had my other doctor send a referral to them. I get a call saying this doctor denied the referral because she doesn’t treat what I am dealing with. So then why do you have an office open as an endocrinologist if you don’t want to deal with symptoms that could be due to an endocrinology related disease?
