I don't know what people expect. I have ALWAYS had great tasting food with plenty of variety at the lunch buffet. And the service has always been quiet, friendly, and attentive. The servers smile, politely inquire about your choices, bring water, and clear plates so you can return to the buffet. What do the complainers expect? I have not eaten dinner here, but lunches are wonderful and I recommend this restaurant to all my friends and relations.
My family and I have travelled across the US quite a bit lately and LOVE indian food. I have, myself, been working on my masala skills for about 6 years (nowhere near perfection). Indian food is quite a lifelong learning process,if not multi-generational. The interior design is beautiful, good service, clean, affordable prices, food (spice - masalas) under average. It seems that they barely threw the spices together w/o regard for bringing out those customary delicious flavors, indian food possesses.

customer service needs to be a lot better. – In any resturant customer service should be very positive. here is is very less than average. The food was simple Indian food with a better presentation. The tatste of the food was okay. I had better tasting food from other Indian and Nepali resturants. To me and my friends, it was almost a waste of our time. Once was enough. Food and Customer service needs to improve a lot. If it does than these people can make more money.
worst customer service experience EVER! PLEASE READ! – ok, a few things. first, my mom and dad went to the buffet awhile back and took my little sister who DID NOT eat anything, she didn't even get a plate, but the place still charged them for my little sister. so, be aware, if your kids don't eat or if you plan on eating with kids there, they'll charge you for your kids! second, i took my mom with the family a few nights ago for mother's day dessert and tea. it was close to 9pm so my mom went in and asked if it's ok to dine... read more
Great for the buffet lunch.... – Pooja is one of my favorite local Indian food places.... for lunch. I like the food and am guessing that maybe the less than stellar reviews came from dinner patrons. I've always have gone there for lunch and only recently went there for a dinner (actually called for a take out dinner). Dinner I caused me great disappointed. Nice family restaurant, no loud music – I have travelled in India and cooked Indian food myself for 30 years. We ate on a Wednesday night, ordered full dinners, all four different. The lamb was tasty but tough. Chicken Tikka was the best dish of the meat items--very tender and flavorful. Chicken korma had a terrible flavor, really wasn't nice...no one liked it.
