We were on our way to vacation when our transmission stopped working. It was hectic for us to work the logistics, but Pony Express was there to help! Tanner and Gary were extremely kind and got us situated in a courtesy vehicle to take the rest of the way to Colorado. They made the process SO EASY and were extremely generous. We were so lucky to have met them. I definitely highly recommend Pony Express Gothenburg!

My family and I were headed toward Cheyenne on a family vacation when our van broke down 10 miles outside of Gothenburg NE. After getting a tow into town, we got connected with Gary at Pony Express Chevrolet. He connected us with a transmission company that could replace our transmission in two days, rented us a car that fit our family for a good price so we could continue on our vacation, and arranged for us to drop off our rental and pick up our van on the weekend. Great experience during a vulnerable time for our family.
If I could give this place zero stars are -5 stars I would. We were interested in a pick up and just got nothing but the runaround about it. Called multiple times to get an update to see if the repair work had been done with no call back. We stopped in to talk with Corey and was told he had to Talk to someone about the price and would get back with us. Next day seen said vehicle driving down the road with transit on it. The least I can do is give five stars. They were all great throughout the process, never once felt pushed to do anything, only ever felt like they wanted to find the best fit for us. THAT'S only the beginning though. We get our vehicle, take it home, and the keys accidentally get locked in the car (the spare was being ordered at the time of purchase). After business hours, Gary drives 35 minutes one way to our house to get it unlocked, which is extremely hard on a '21 Expedition, not to mention it was 83 degrees out. What mo... read more
