So good! The wings may have been my favorite ever!
My husband and I have eaten at Pontiac twice... both experiences were very good. The fried pickles were greasy, but very tasty. Loved the seasoned ribs, cream corn, grits, and green beans. The only suggestion I might make is to add a good banana pudding or peach cobbler to your menu and offer wet wipes to clean up with after eating the bbq.
I came on my lunch break. The service was great, quick, friendly. The bartender even gave me a cup of water even though I was ordering to go. The vegetables were excellent but there was not enough for them to cost $8; they were the size of a typical side. Since they’re sold a la carte like the other meat, I kind of expected a decent sized portion. We went on Sunday afternoon. Sat at the bar. The server was great. We had the pulled pork and Brisket with Mac and cheese and baked beans. The food was excellent. Will be back.
After an 8 month absence and at my neighbor’s recommendation, we gave Pontiac another shot. We’d been there a few times previously and the staff wasn’t very friendly. In fact, we vowed to not go back. However, today we met Ray. He was our server, and a total gentleman. We dine out a lot, and live in OTR. Typically, a bad experience will keep us from going back. In this instance, we’re glad we gave it another try. It was well worth it. The food is really good, by the way. This time, the service was even better!
