Not so much a place of healing, but a bold social experiment in the outer limits of human patience. We stumbled into what appeared to be a forgotten field hospital from a war we hadn't realized was being fought. Very poor service. Had to fill form out on arrival rather than provide information which is keyed directly into a computer. The forms had so much toner on you could barely read my writing. This info was then relayed to someone else over the phone. Seems a total waste of time and paper and increases the risk of a data breach. There was only around 5 people ahead of me but I think there was only 1 doctor on duty who had a break in amongst dealing with the patients as my wait was 3.5 hours. I wasn't looking forward to going after hearing about the long wait times. I was pleasantly surprised! I went after work on Monday and arrived at 18.20. I was called through within minutes, had xrays, again within minutes then discussed the results and was back in my car for 18.50. Lovely friendly staff.

After my experience of the UK NHS so far I was expecting to have to wait for hours to see someone for my daughter. We were in and out of the UTC within half an hour, and not only that but the doctor was great with my daughter and so happy! I was so impressed. Thank you for giving us my first positive experience of the uk medical system!
