Ponino’s Story In the early 1950’s, Little Liborio was born in a small Sicilian town in Italy. There, his friends frequently called him by his nickname, Ponino or “Nino”. When he was ten, his family moved to New York and Ponino began his life in pizza. In the mid 1960’s he moved out to California and continued his quest for making the perfect pizza.
