We loved it! My cousin recommended it me as a pre-theater restaurant. I had a reservation for a party of 6, and was pleasantly surprised and delighted that they seated me right away with only 2 of us. They did not make us wait for the entire party to arrive. Nice atmosphere and great wait staff. Happy to report quick service, which allowed for a leisurely walk to the play. Highly recommend. Oh and no squabbling over the bill...prices very reasonable : )
Me and my wife wanted Thai. Just so happened this place was the closes. We went there and loved it. She had Thai fried rice and I had chicken and basil. It was perfect. Unfortunately couldn't get the sticky rice & mango because it's no longer in season.
ok, so this pongsri has been my go-to thai restaurant for over 10 years. it's my thai home. tina always takes good care of me and my family and friends, and the food is always tasty and fresh. despite being in the touristy theater district right off times square it remains a haven which welcomes all. i have never felt rushed or unwelcome, and the service is always impeccable. i do like other thai restaurants as well, but pongsri is closest to my heart. <3
Always good food & service. We arrived somewhat late for our reservation and they still had our table waiting for us.
