Dr. Couful did a dental cleaning & 2 molar extractions on my Maltese mix. It was her first surgery, so i did my research and read many vet reviews (& even visited 3 other clinics with her) before deciding to trust only Ponderosa Veterinary Clinic to properly monitor my baby under anesthesia. She did great! Dr. Coufel called me after the surgery to give me a full, unrushed report and instructions, and a Vet tech also called the next day to check on her. I absolutely love, love, love this practice! Everybody at the front desk is nice and of course the vets are absolutely amazing! If you’re lucky enough to get in, stick with them.
We really loved this vet a few years back. It was very personable, and everyone there was kind and considerate, and the care they provided our pets was excellent and affordable. We hadn't gone there for a few years, but because of this, we decided to go back and check out their new location because we received an email stating they accept payments now. Update: I have taken my dogs to this clinic for 6 years now. Over this time the practice moved to a brand new building, and became unfriendly and more transactional. They dont care that you are bringing in family pets. They care about making more money, and selling more products. For instance, they no longer allow 3rd party pharmacy options - like chewy.com. The vet there is very kind, and happy to answer any questions about my pets treatment.
