It has great food & good atmosphere
So sad. A few times a month I get to travel across state which lets me visit here. Unfortunately today is the last time. This was the worst meal I've had here. It's been going down hill for a while. Steak was not cooked right, French fries tasted like burned peanuts. Sauteed onions were still raw. Everything tasted like it was microwaved. I used to love these places but they are in the wrong hands. They didn't care it tasted bad, left 90 percent on my plate. Buffett was passable.
I ordered the T-Bone because it was the Special.. But there was Nothing Special about this. I ordered it Medium Rare, but it came out Well Done, so I had to send it back, then I ordered something to go (Bad Idea I know), I get home and find that they have cheated me out of my Fries... This is probably how they stay in business... Luckily I don't live near Hastings, So I wont be back Anytime soon. For those of you who do live around Hasting, I would Avoid this place and save my money and my frustration.
My family and I have been to this restaurant a lot. The food was amazing. Then the last 3 times we have gone there the food is not to be up to standards. Very disappointed. We will not go back there agin. Really thought it was just a bad time when went to Ponderosa. Three times is to many and to pay that much for to eat there and your ten year old is not happy with the menu entrees that they put out. Very sad. Some one is not doing there job.......... Needs more to offer in the meats that you serve.

I love the food here. I would eat here more often, except I see to many kids playing around with the food bars with no adult supervision.
Food was freah and place was very clean. I would definitely eat there again.

Went there for lunch. It was horrible! If you're on diet there is no meat to eat on the buffet that isn't fried. Except for the kangaroo meatballs. Yuck!! The vegetables were good. and so was the crab salad. For the price I'll never eat there again.. I could have gone to the Golden Corral for the same price and have baked chicken and baked fish
