This Place is the Shizzz :) – Actually I think it is a very good restaurant, I mean it's a buffet come on? You can't expect 5 star, I totally call bs though on rotten and not very good tasting food though. How does chicken smell & taste like fish??...it's chicken...haha. And they have real butter???....lol don't believe everything you read, check it out for yourself.

Bad Service! – I have always looked forward to going to Ponderosa. We don't go often because of the gas prices. After going there today, we won't be back. The service was very poor. They ran out of baked potatoes. I ask for a side of mushrooms, I only got six. I paid $1.29 for them. I had to keep asking my waitress where there were. The buffet selection was very limited. A very disappointed dinner.

This Place Needs to "Shut Down"!! – We ate Sunday dinner at this Bonanza on 5-8-2011 at 11:15 a.m. The food was awful!! The tables and floors were not clean!! The chicken smelled and tasted like fish. No where did we see that they served butter...just that whipped stuff that is poison to your arteries!! They served 2 different kinds of cakes for dessert. Would Not Recommend! – I went to Ponderosa in Mt. Pleasant, MI this past Saturday with my family. The environment was friendly & they have good food, however if you have food allergies I DO NOT recommend coming here. I ordered grilled shrimp. When it came to my table, it was smothered in butter (which I am allergic to) so I asked the waitress if I could please get some made without butter. Nothing Like that Review – I often go here, It is always clean and fast. The food is good, and i have never saw nats flying around the food. Please dont go by my review go try yourself.

Horrible place to work and eat...... – I worked at this place for 8 months and you can say it is very unsafe and unhealthy... They managers all eat in the cooler and so do alot of the employees. They treat everyone like s*** to include the customers... I have an ex-boyfriend work there with me, he was very abusive and would always come after me, they'd do nothing about it, now when I asked to get my job back, they leave it up to him wheater or not I get it back... bad service – some one that works there is just starting to learn how to cook there i heard that he is not good at that and my steak was not the way i wanted it i think they said his name was thomas i think not sure so please before i come back to eat talk to the cooks please. thank u i don't think that they deserve to work there anymore so please do ur job. and my dishes that i had were not clean so please do ur job thank u and hope to come in there again.

not what i expected at all!! – the last time i visited this restraunt was just that....the last time. When we first visited the salad bar there was cottage cheese all over the salad bar...it was still there when i left. They seem to have too many teenagers who go to work to socialize. The food was not all what i expected. we could have went to Texas road house for the same price and i really wish we would have. The board of health should visit them more often. not what it used to be.
