First time I've been to Ponderosa but I've heard such good things and my girl B! needed some urgent help. The clinic is lovely and well organized, the staff were fun and very kind and Dr Nichole Ramey was the best. Knowledgeable, brilliant and in our experience, treats the whole picture. I'm so happy we've found our new vet. 10 stars if I could.
It has been a few months now, but I am finally able to talk about my beautiful experience with Ponderosa Vet. My best friend of nearly 15 years had an aggressive hemangiosarcoma in her right nostril. After deciding it was time, this lovely veterinarian met me out at the base of the La Plata mountains to help me say my last goodbyes in the most peaceful way possible. I had a horrible experience with this vet and explained my experience in a review. Later I saw that the vet campaigned Google to take the review down. Be aware that they do what they can to get negative reviews removed. I do not recommend. Everyone I know who has used this vet has also had a bad experience with them.
Ponderosa Vet Clinic was quick to respond, very thorough and effortless with the scheduling process. Dr. Nicole and assistant Drew came out to our home to send our precious Sophie onto doggie spirit heaven. They were the most pleasant, kind, experienced and patient with the process. It was more peaceful than I had ever imagined, forever grateful...Thank you from both my husband and I
Dr. Nicole and her team were so incredibly kind and compassionate, helping with the passing of our senior dog in a manner that less stressful for him. She even took time to create a clay paw print memorial with his giant paw. We can't thank them enough. I highly recommend Ponderosa Pet.
