Pond Point Animal Hospital was founded in January of 1973 by Dennis Doughty DVM and Richard Suhie DVM. In 1985 Dr. Doughty retired from active practice and moved to Africa to pursue other interests. K. Paul Rumble DVM was brought on staff in January of 1985 and became a full partner in March of 1986. In 1987 Pond Point Animal Hospital helped found Shoreline Animal Emergency Clinic in Stratford, CT. Happy to have found Pond Point Animal Hospital after moving back home. My boy was a bit scared after having seen one Vet his entire life, but they were very gentle with him. Dr Valentino answered my questions and takes the time to explain everything ! She suggested I start him on joint supplements, which I never would have thought of and also changing his food to address his sporadic regurgitation.
