Had a very similar bad experience as Stevie Leifheit. We have purchased paint from this company for years and hadn’t had any issues. But after I called up asking to chat with George about specifics on a product he sold me, he proceeded to yell at me (curses and everything), telling me he also didn’t need my business and wanted me to go somewhere else which I gladly have done! I also feel he is short staffed and stressed, but that’s still not acceptable behavior from a business owner to a customer.

We had a great experience with Pond Cove up until recently. George has clearly become stressed and understaffed. He has begun treating us very poorly and rude. He even decided to call us, cuss us out, and tell us to take our business elsewhere. If you don't buy thousands in paint weekly you're going to be treated as a less than customer.

Pond cove paint has been in business since late 80s they are the best coating supplier in the state of Maine . I have done business with them for over 30 years . What makes them the best is service. Anyone can sell paint. P.C. sells the most durable coatings in the industry. I have been refinishing and finishing furniture and cabinets since 1983 .so I have seen a lot of laquer , but George is a color matching expert !
