Darrin's advice and expertise have helped make our families owner built project an incredible success. I haven't been able to stump him with any construction questions. Darrin always has an answer for even the most minute construction details. He's pragmatic, factual, and very detailed. The only regret you may have is if you don't listen to Darrin. We just poured the walls of our ICF house and by following his advice on bracing and preparing for the pour, our pour went perfectly!
Alt Building Systems supplied our block and guided my crew through assembly and fabrication of a 40x30 foot building which now houses a pool. Darrin is an expert in this process and related his knowledge most excellently to my crew, while he himself worked hard to perfect the details. We removed an old and failing pool in our backyard. Had a large cement patio installed by Darrin and his crew. Lots of rebar under the cement. Had the washed finish. Fantastic and beautifully done. He’s an artist with cement. Best addition to our home.
Alternative Building Systems approached our remodeling project with professionalism and a high degree of quality control. We had a project requiring engineered footings, foundation, handicapped ramp and handicapped friendly unload areas on a steep slope site.
