I hate the Christopher Regala clinic. I had a 2:00 PM appointment and arrived 15 minutes early. However, I wasn’t seen until 3:30 PM. Waiting for over an hour with no clear updates was frustrating and unprofessional. Timely service and better communication are essential for patient comfort and trust in your facility.
I was getting ready to board a plane at the Honolulu airport when I sneezed, and my arm went wonky. I called for medical assistance and EMS brought me to the Pali Momi. There I received prompt medical attention by a fine and caring ER staff efficiently diagnosed my condition as a stroke and administered blockbusting medication. While I can’t speak for the entire hospital, I’d like to share my personal experience with their emergency department. The staff, including the emergency physician, were courteous and professional, which I truly appreciated. However, I feel it’s important to share some concerns for anyone considering this facility for emergency care. I had to call for an ambulance for my elderly mom and she was taken to this ER and admitted here. Everyone at Pali Momi made a very scary event into a very pleasant experience. Everyone from the ER to every Nurse, nurse's aide, Speech therapists, PT, OT and her Doctor were so friendly and so helpful. Even everyone that brought my mom's meals and housekeeping, all so awesome. It almost became a normal routine.
