Yesterday I went to lunch with my grandson and I thought the prices were excellent for the quality of the food.
Went here for a late dinner and ordered the family meal. We were told there were no rolls. No biggie. We asked for plantains in place of the missing rolls. She said she could not do that and offered fries instead. Again, no biggie, Ill pay for the plantains and take the fries. I get home and they gave me about 7 overcooked, cold fries and the container of beans was half liquid.
Friendly counter service, superb cook and cut on the chicken, good flavor and temp on the mojo pork. Large sides are generous. Hubby likes the Cilantro Garlic sauce, I liked the BBQ and Pineapple Rum sauces. The family menu actually fed my family of 4 (2 teen boys). Only nitpick is that the fans and turned on high and its a bit too breezy inside. But for the money, flavor, speed and quantity it's worth it. Giving up PDQ and Chick-fil-A for Pollo Tropical when out with family.
