My favorite niece,and her awesome husbandTyler,frequent the neighborhood bar.They are so awesome,they always said,it's just like right over" there" Really close to the house. So one weekend,I joined them. I really enjoyed it,alot.We had great time,although they had an earlier start. They had some other friends there.. Atmosphere,music,drinks,and of course,the alcohol.. My wife and I are from Leakey and we came to Corpus Christi for vacation. We heard Politics was a good bar so we went on Friday the 22nd of March. There was a live band playing but the bar was not busy. We are assuming the bartenders are entry level. I frequently go to Politics because it is in a great location. I hate to admit it but I'm there every weekend. They have live music every Friday night; with great band selections if I might add. There is a very cool, brand new bar on a very put-together patio. The bartender outside is the sweetest girl you will ever meet, and the bartenders, although usually busy, are very kind and professional too. I never get served a drink without a smile too. A bar for the rest of us! Thanks for making Politics the place to go for... classic rock, country, and modern music (live on Friday nights), pool, darts, and games and UFC on the big screen, a big patio with a full bar, a clean and relaxed atmosphere, and the best place to party on the south side!
I decided to try out Politics last weekend- it was waste of my time! I waited 40 minutes for one of the FOUR bartenders to aknowledge me and all I wanted was a beer!! With four bartenders I thought I would recieve faster service or even a friendly aknowledgement but I did not! I was not the only one complaining either. They also had TERRIBLE attitudes!
