I don't give out too many 5 star ratings Well deserved in this case Polite Provisions is exceptional Staff are fun and talkative. They make drinks with passion and zeal! Plenty of things to look at while sipping your perfect cocktail
Finally found a decent lemon drop in San Diego! I know it’s an easy drink to make but other places in SD have let me down when it came to making a legit lemon drop. Polite Provisions is a must go to spot. I stayed down the street with some friends and noticed how popular this spot is, especially on the weekends. All the magic of this place was ruined by completely terrible music. Visited 10/4/25 and the gangster rap was loud and atrocious and completely at odds with the rest of the experience. Designed to increase turnover? You were successful as we left after one drink.
The place has a cool vibe however we decided to leave. Ironically had really rude service from the bartender.
Rude and pretentious staff. The heavier balding bartender working the evening of 9/30 refused service to my friend without explanation. On other times I visited the drinks are mediocre at best and far too overpriced. Don’t waste your money or time. Much better places in the area to get a drink. Very disappointing of a consortium holdings establishment
