There are no words to describe the revolting and horrific nature of this salon. Forget zero stars, this place should be shut down. Long story short, it is completely unsanitary (for instance, they keep tools in boxes instead of sealed sanitation packages and do not always use liners in the pedicure tubs). I spent almost $1,400 from November to February and ended up with a fungal infection in my fingers and toenails. This is not to complain, but to warn the other women of Charlotte, DO NOT VISIT THIS SALON.
I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. I NEVER leave bad reviews but this place was terrible right when I walked in. First, the water was already filled in the pedicure chair so when I put my feet in, water was cold. My nail tech was a man and he was so rough and rushing through the entire thing. He asked which pedicure I wanted to do. He said basic is 50 with gel and premium is 75 with gel. I was like I’ll do basic. Went here for a quick polish change and it was trash. He cut my nail after I said polish change only (I did not want any clippers, filing, etc) and I could’ve done a better paint job at home by myself for free rather than 20 dollars.
Walked in to loud chatter amongst the employees. Asked for a pedicure. Technician began the procedure without verifying the menu or costs. I felt rushed because she was clipping, filing, and massaging at lightning speed. In and out in 20 minutes. $50 plus $25 tip. This was my first and only sub par service at the Polished Nail Bar.
All of my nails look like this and are cracked. I came in for SNS removal and upper lip wax. It was 50 dollars. She didn’t show me a receipt with totals just charged me, then showed me Venmo demanding a tip. Do not recommend at all!
