We could not recommend Poleys Place more highly! Not only is it exceptionally good value and run by great people, it is simply one of the most stunning spots to camp. Where else can you sit by the fire listening to the sound of the river flowing; and wake up to it in the morning. Just a beautiful spot that they keep well maintained, seems to attract a nice family friendly crowd for a relaxed and safe atmosphere - just all in all, a great place that we’ll keep coming back to. Absolutely amazing! Could do with bathrooms or porta-loo's down the very end, walking up to the toilet in the middle of the night was the only down side. Will definitely be going again tho.
Poley's place was always considered a yearly tradition for years throughout my family, I and many other people have made a lot of friends and memories during my visits. Unfortunately the new caretakers were very rude and highly abusive towards some members of our camp site. We went to the lookout as we have done for many years to be chased erratically by the caretakers in their car who then abused us and children for going through an apparent no entry gate as you can see below the gate has never once stated no entry nor are ... read more
Management are brilliant and so accommodating. The place is amazing, so many spots to pick! An amazing river, hot showers and toilets. I will definitely be back regularly
