I highly recommend Polaris for Physical Therapy. Alma is very thorough and explains what muscle is being strengthened by each exercise. I came to Polaris after a hip replacement. With Alma’s help my recovery was speedy and complete.
Alma Deguzman the PT at Polaris Rehabilitation is a miracle worker. Before we came to Polaris Rehabilitation, I had taken my Dad to ER, a spine surgeon, and orthopedic doctor. None of them were able to diagnose the cause of his back pain, nor were they able to help him, other than giving him pain meds. Alma not only immediately diagnosed the problem but also explained it to us in a way that was easily understood. She both treated the muscle spasms and worked with him to build up his strength.
Excellent therapist; understanding; knowledgeable Alma is a highly trained scoliosis expert in the Schroth method which is a non-surgical physical therapy treatment for scoliosis that uses customized exercises and breathing techniques to improve posture and spine curvature.
