I called to speak with the manager who very quickly told me she couldn’t tell me any information about the apartment. I signed the lease for all before asking my name or apartment number. She was very rude gave me a non working number to the corporate office. When you call the number for 58 west no one answers the phone. Had an apartment there for seven years with at least 15 different roommates and now when everyone has moved out, they only want to charge one person the fee to clean, even though in the state of Michigan, af... read more
58 West is absolutely horrible and extremely unprofessional. They’re always adding hidden fees with no explanation and never communicate properly. You constantly have to chase them down just to get basic information. Nothing is ever straightforward with them. Living here has been nothing but stressful. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—run while you can.
So many bad experiences
I would like to give a fair warning to anyone considering moving here. Location is nice, staff have all been very friendly and relatively prompt when repairs etc are needed. However………… This place has roaches. I don’t see many reviews mentioning this, so it may just be a few buildings with this issue, but 5750 is one to avoid. Even if you keep your place clean and tidy, you can expect to still be sharing your space with them. I’ve been living at 58 West Apartments and I just want to highlight how impressed I am with their maintenance service. Every time I submit a request, it gets addressed quickly—most of the time, the maintenance supervisor Tony himself shows up to take care of it. He’s efficient, respectful, and really knows what he’s doing. It’s a big relief knowing that any issue is handled promptly and professionally. Shoutout to the team, especially Tony, for keeping everything running smoothly!
