I've always loved matcha...after ordering from here, I don't think I can ever drink it again. Served Iced but included very little milk, and the matcha was very clumpy. I couldn't drink it and threw it away. The venue is wonderful, but I wouldn't order any drinks that require a barista. It's possible this was one botched job, but I know I'm never ordering matcha anywhere again as a result.
This coffee shop is super cute! The atmosphere and décor are very chic, featuring a library-inspired ceiling and long communal tables that feel like a university study hall. It’s conveniently located downtown, right across from the University of Michigan campus. The coffee was good, although the lox bagel was a bit too salty for my taste. Only not five stars because the coffee itself is pretty mid, but the vibes are insane. Absolutely hidden gem for studying, reading, chill vibes at a coffee place in Ann Arbor.
Influenced by my best friend to enjoy the amazing coffee and matcha Poindexter had to offer! It has a ambience that I wish I could’ve had to study in during college. Sunshine soaks the tables and beautiful staircase. It is student, family and even dog friendly! Will be back to try pasties and even the restaurant attached!
The food is really good, quick and affordable. Jay and Vivian provided great service at the front with both the coffee and the food. Really enjoyed the experience. Thanks!
