Poindexter, situated in the Hilton Graduate Hotel, kind of occupies a middle grey area between coffee shop, brunch restaurant, and bar. Despite being located in a hotel, most customers are local students. I like the decor, there's lots of eclectic little pieces to look at, hidden in corners all over the space. The food is good but HEAVY. There is not much for options of lighter meals. The salads leave a lot to be desired. However, the coffee and espresso drinks are fantastic!
Poindexter cafe is inside The Graduate hotel. The students at the University of Indiana hang out in the lobby and here at this cafe to study. Their parents usually check in here when they're in town to visit their college student.
