I had my first consult with Dr. Pohl. I am very happy and hopeful. He took the time to explain my motility disorder as well as explained in detail, the surgery. Although I'm nervous about the surgery, I also can't wait. To be able to eat and drink without pain will be a blessing!!
Excellent he is the best surgeon and person I have ever met. He did complex surgery and saved my life.

Dr. Pohl. did my surgery in 2014. I am very thankful that he did so i lost a lot of weight i was very close too 386 pounds even close too 400. i felt depressed and did not know what to do with my self, i really thought about this before i had my surgery, I gave up Soda the year before have not had none since, You have to want this 100% and stick too it I am at 234, still losing and just had a tummy Tuck done, i feel great I would do it all over again and pick doctor Pohl, He is GREAT THE BEST
I love Dr. Pohl. He is an excellent surgeon, keeps up with latest medicine, and is conservative in his approach. He is a kind and ethical man. Can't say enough good things.

Going to see Dr. Pohl for my Gastric Bypass was the best choice I made! He preformed the same surgery on my Mom 12 years before mine and she did absolutely amazing. Even to this day she has kept the weight off. I am almost 2 weeks post-op and I feel amazing. My recovery so far has been very easy. My incisions are healing very well. Between the pre op diet and the surgery I am down 20lbs!!! Also the nurses at Dr. Pohl office and very friendly and always available for questions!
