My wife and I purchased a new Honda CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid last week from Pohanka Honda in Salisbury, Maryland. Our Sales Consultant, Mr. Dominic Blum was thoroughly professional in all respects and at all times during the process. He provded to be very cordial, knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive to what options we were hoping to get on our new vehicle. service dept will not take appointments. Their web site allows you to schedule your appointent, day & hour, but it is first come first service. So don’t buy your car here. We can’t get a recall completed from them for 2 years now.
Love my Ridgeline - Getting it serviced is a nightmare! 3 hours for an oil change! Ridiculous! Got there at 6:45am and was 3rd in line for service. Ugh!
I had a 9am service appointment. I was told it would be about a 90 minute wait. Seemed long but I accepted it. After 90 minutes, I asked when my vehicles would be done. I was told it was “third in line”. It had even been taken back yet!! I took my keys and left. Never again.
We don't know if they do a good job mechanically, as we never got any service. We made an appointment for 9 am Saturday morning. At 11, (2 hours later) when we asked about our car, we were told it was going in for service at that time. At 11:50, we asked again and were told we were just going in for service. We took the car and left. Very bad management. They lied to us about when the car was going in for service.
Saved our vacation The Service Department at Pohanka Honda in Salisbury was beyond helpful when our Pilot broke down on vacation. We were towed into a town/dealer we knew nothing about. They replaced the engine, stored our kayaks (strapped on top of the car), kept us up to date on status, and gave us a lovely new Pilot as a loaner for a week. I can't say enough about how professional they were -- and just plain nice. Their help made a vacation disaster less of a disaster.
Awful experience and waste of time. I had went to Pohanka Honda because I was interested in getting a new Honda Civic. On May 6th, I had spoken to their one of their salesmen, Joel English, and decided to put a deposit down to hold one of the incoming Civics as they didn't have any on lot. Joel had told me that it would take approximately 2 weeks for the car to arrive. Vacationing an hour away at the beach every warning light lit up in my sons CRV. We called Pohanka Honda and they said they could take in our car right away, no appointment needed! Upon arrival Ryan in service explained the process, and took the car. They were able to not only work on the car that same day- but they had a van to take us to get lunch and bring us back. The car was fixed, and they found it was under warranty! Ryan and Alexa in service we’re very helpful and professional. THANK YOU POHANKA!
This should have been a simple visit but it turned into an ordeal. Short version, they gave me a service bulletin which said the noise in question ended after 3 minutes but in my case it continued while driving with no end. I only wanted an explanation - never asked them to get rid of the noise - just asked to explain why it continued past the three minutes but this turned into a nightmare of wasted time, multiple phone calls, visits and still no explanation.
