We had very good drinks at Poeta when they used to be on 11th street so we decided to try it out for dinner. We got two cocktails and two pastas. Neither cocktail was balanced and both pastas were overcooked and soft. We didn't finish either dish or drink, not that our waiter took any notice. We won't be going back.
This was our first time to Poeta for brunch. We chose Poeta since we are big fans of Intero and love all the concepts that Ian and Crystal create with there teams. Poeta did not disappoint. Staff is so friendly and helpful. I asked about fish dishes and they had tried a new fish ravioli that wasn’t on the menu yet. So we ordered that and it WAS SO GOOD. They even asked our feedback as they were trialing it. We got the sourdough appetizer and the warm bread was a nice touch! We really enjoyed the portion size and split this as we weren’t too hungry and it fulfilled us so nicely!
We loved both the food and the service! The location isn’t the easiest to drive to, but the homemade pasta is absolutely worth it. Everything was delicious, and we’d definitely come back!
