Booked a pod container in February to relocate my home furniture prior to a major renovation. Pods sent me TEN emails/texts/calls prior to delivery confirming delivery between 4-7pm on Friday evening. Pod did not show up and no one called. The ol' no-call, no-show. This is absolutely the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. It’s not so much the actual location near you. It’s their customer service that you have to deal with for pick up & delivery. Any issues you have customer service is absolutely horrible. Four months later and I’m still dealing with this company they overcharged me. I’ve spent numerous hours on the phone trying to clear it up. They charged me for an extra month. I called on 20 November. Their email said they would pick it up by the 24th. UPDATE: Somehow the experience since leaving this review has gotten so much worse. We settled on dropping the POD off at a friend's house on June 19 for pickup on June 20. On June 19 the driver downed a neighbor's electrical wire unnecessarily. The neighbor was furious as they should be and called the cops but the driver basically indicated it wasn't PODs' issue since they weren't the customer. I am completely dissatisfied with PODS and how they advertise their services as opposed to what they actually do. I would highly recommend not using them especially if you are moving to and from areas in and around cities. They do not deliver on streets even if the streets allow street parking. Therefore, you need a driveway, but even if you have a driveway it needs to be flat and wide. In that case, PODs is a very bad choice for most people I know locally.
