Our POD was delivered today after our initial delivery two days ago was aborted. As the driver attempted the initial delivery, he noticed a hole in the top of the POD and recommended that we cancel delivery and reschedule for a later time to ensure we received a POD that was intact. TL/DR: STRONGLY discourage using PODS for your moving needs. We signed up with them during a promo where the first month was free and I confirmed with their rep that rental charges were based on how long you physically had the POD. Neither of which was true. When I called to understand why POD was charging us additional fees (we were originally quoted just over $900 and they’ve now charged us over $1200) we were told that they didn’t give us the 1 month free promo (no explanation as to why) and their fees were not based on t... read more

First, they didn’t give us a delivery window the night before through email or our account like we were supposed to, we had to call where the window was 7-10 am (as we moved into a complex where we have to coordinate with neighbors) . We had to wake up at 5am to get to our new place and then they sent us an email at 10 saying delivery would be pushed back for 8:45-11:45 (mind you, they never gave us an original time via the website or email the night before per their policy, we had to go out of our way to get it). I used PODS while getting ready to stage our house. It was a great service all around, they were flexible with rescheduling and did a great job with delivery and pickup. Alberto was the driver who dropped off, and he went above and beyond. I didn’t get the name of the driver who picked it up, but he did great as well. As a bonus, my little kids loved watching the drop off and pickup! Would use again.

Updating my review as the driver who picked up the pod destroyed our retaining wall. It was dark by the time he was pulling away and he came to our door to have us sign off on the pickup. He didn’t tell us he crashed into the wall and destroyed it, basically he was blatantly deceptive. After months of going back and forth with the company they refused to pay for the damage they did and justified it by saying we signed the papers. It was slimy and treacherous.
