PODS notified us of a delay in the delivery of our storage contained 4 hours before it was scheduled to arrive. I spent hours on the phone with PODS customer service and nobody could get in touch with the Frederick facilities manager to determine the expected delivery date or time. We paid our movers to sit around our house and wait for the delivery delayed. PODS cost us over $1,000 more than we anticipated on spending for our move.
We had the fourth of four PODs removed today. The driver, Adrian, was the same gentleman who delivered the first two full PODs. He is a true professional, very conscientious and respectful. Adrian called about an hour before arrival. He did a terrific job managing the equipment on both ends. Highly recommend!
Vincent was absolutely wonderful with his customer service. He was kind, compassionate and timely. Timely. Couldn't ask for a better care.
Our POD was delivered today after our initial delivery two days ago was aborted. As the driver attempted the initial delivery, he noticed a hole in the top of the POD and recommended that we cancel delivery and reschedule for a later time to ensure we received a POD that was intact. We did exactly as he recommended, and a fully intact POD was delivered today by the same driver from the Buckeystown, MD location. I can not say enough about the PODS driver who handled our delivery! TL/DR: STRONGLY discourage using PODS for your moving needs. We signed up with them during a promo where the first month was free and I confirmed with their rep that rental charges were based on how long you physically had the POD. Neither of which was true. When I called to understand why POD was charging us additional fees (we were originally quoted just over $900 and they’ve now charged us over $1200) we were told that they didn’t give us the 1 month free promo (no explanation as to why) and their fees were not based on t... read more
