Expect long waiting time here, they not allow you wait on yard, trucks stay in the road. Extremely long wait time for pods warehouses.
I had a terrible first experience with PODS and will never use them again. I scheduled a delivery for Thursday and called ahead to confirm. They told me it was on the way and to call back in two hours if I didn’t see a delivery window. I ended up calling five times that day — and the POD never arrived. They then guaranteed it would be delivered Friday between 5–8 PM. I waited all day. My delivery window disappeared from tracking, but they insisted it was still coming. BE SURE to know what zip code you are moving to because this PODS has a very limited range. You'll have to hire another company to deliver or rent a truck to unload and reload and deliver if they don't deliver to your zip code. Customer service said to me when I complained: Did you read the fine print on the contract? Very snarky. If this was communicated at the beginning I would have rented a U-haul.
I'm very very very disappointed in the pods company. I was told I was going to be able to get both my 8ft and 16ft pods delivered to our new home as soon as we have purchased it. Went to schedule delivery and was excited to start are new chapter in life. And pods company said we are not in the delivery service area. I can't tell you what a hassle this has caused. And they charged me extra to have them moved to a closer storage center so my husband and I have to unload and load everything again. My husband is in bad health an... read more
