I have brought injured animals to this center twice and have been impressed with their compassion. Yesterday was the first time I had been through their entire facility- didn't know it was as extensive as it is. The fact that they do all they do working with donations is very impressive. I loved how they opened their doors to the public to educate us to what they do and I think it was great how so many people came out to help them raise money so they can continue to do the wonderful work they do.
Open house was nice, volunteers were friendly and was nice seeing the animals of course.
This was our first visit and definitely won't be our last. We were so impressed with the care of all the animals were receiving. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and very kind. We'll be making monthly trips with donations and will encourage our friends to do the same. I hope your fundraiser was a huge success! Thank you for all you do to save God's innocent creatures.
Outstanding work they do here.
I finally made it to an open house! The ride was half the fun. I was really impressed with the quality of care and the variety of animals there. Staff and volunteers were very friendly and answered many of my questions. The lady by the coyote and deer was interesting and a delight to talk to on a hot afternoon. Baby skunks, opossums, porcupines, bunnies, birds,fawn...So cute. Animals rehabilitated to be released and animals who must stay because they can no longer survive in their habitats. Go for a learning experience. This... read more
My dad found a poor baby raccoon sleeping in a box, his mom was run over in the road. I called the Pocono wildlife rehabilitation center and we took him/her up the same day. It felt good being able to help the poor little thing out. I'm happy to know he/she will have a second chance at life! Thank you Pocono wildlife rehabilitation center! raccoons are my absolute FAVORITE woodland creature.
