What a hidden gem, especially if you go back and forth from Austin to Houston with littles. We stopped here for dinner and had the nicest time eating on the patio while our kid played on the mostly shaded playground. Food was as expected - not amazing, but not bad. I’d say go with a basic burger and you can’t go wrong. After dinner we wandered down the road to the memorial park which had their splash pad on. What a nice surprise to be able to get some toddler energy out before getting back in the car for a few hours.
The music was a little loud for those of us with hearing problems. Otherwise it was great!
After leaving another local establishment due to poor service, we decided to take a chance with this place. The menu is huge, so no reason to not find something to your liking! A quiet place with a lot of what seemed to be “to-go” orders and a few dining in while we were there. Great decor from the movie made in the town “Hope Floats”.
